Walls Locked To Roof Revit

In the drawing area select one or more walls you want to attach to other elements.

Click modify walls tab modify wall panel attach top base. Get up and running with revit. However if you create the wall move on then come back and try to lock the wall no lock icon. On the options bar for attach wall select either top or base.

Select the elements to which the wall will attach. When you have roofs above your walls it is easy to attach the top edges of the walls to the underside of the roofs and enclose the geometry. Click modify tab modify panel pin select the elements to be pinned and then press enter. In this video i show you how to attach the walls in revit to the roof above them.

When creating a wall a lock icon appears allowing you you lock the wall to another element eg. Likewise if you unlock a previously locked wall and then try to lock it again no lock icon.
